Message for Christy.

Someone once said, "… all good things come to an end", and that is certainly is the case with Christy's long and very distinguished "career" at the helm of the good ship CGEN. The Secretary-Treasurer is a vitally important role - often running for MANY years - and acting as the glue that provides the bond between the Presidents and Council members that come and go on a more regular basis. Meticulous minutes that capture the essence and direction of Council will remain as a legacy of her work.

Congrats on a well-deserved "retirement"! Time to put down the smoking quill (or overheated laptop) and pick up that glass of G and T, or BC wine; - (can't buy American these days) - and move on. However, I'm sure that CGEN will be with you for many years to come!

I'm sorry I am 3286 km away to the east and not with you to share in your special celebration, but my thoughts are with you!

Best wishes, Alan.
(Alan Morgan - Past President CANQUA, and ex-CGEN council)

Congratulations to Christy!

I'm sending warm wishes from the far east to an incredible person. Thanks for your many years of hard work and dedication to CGEN and the larger geoscience community. Congrats on a well deserved retirement.

Wishing you all the very best!
