The 2017 Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada Mining Matters Teachers' Day Program will take place Sunday, March 5 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Event registration has just been extended to Friday, February 24.
The theme is "Innovation: Mineral Exploration, Mining and Education," with a focus on some of the new ideas, devices and methods that serve to move the minerals industry and education forward. Participants will learn about advances in exploration, emerging technologies and Earth science and mineral resources hands-on learning activities, to use in the classroom.
